@VerdantSquareRadio He asserts it, but he hasn't proven it. Bessel van der Kolk and Peter Levine's work depend heavily on pseudoscience. Unfortunately, they're both wildly successful as authors. The danger of their messages is that they keep people from getting scientifically established, more effective treatment for their PTSD. https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/10497315231206754 Even worse: he was abusive enough to workers in his own clinic that they ousted him.
