"you'll be left behind if you don't use LLMs" this kind of thing has been said for a while for every single new hyped thing. "You'll be left behind if you don't use <this new and exciting thing>" Yet, when one doesn't use that new and exciting thing, nothing really happens. Everyone forgets that hyped thing that was once new.
