@Anke Much. I'm surmising I took these down at a lecture on medieval or Renaissance alchemy at MIT. Which no doubt uses the most cutting-edge alchemical sigils.

@Anke I have just discovered that these symbols are at odds with Unicode. Q.v. U+1F761, U+1F74B, &c.
