by the way, if someone on the instance says something to make a subpoena instance admin’s problem, well… there’s a reason why our instance policy forbids certain classes of speech, and it’s because getting subpoenaed and handing folks’ data to the feds is not any community’s idea of a good time. some things are best left not said in fixed, scrapable, palantir-complex surveillance-state-targetable form! thoughts are free. the surveillance state is not freedom.
