Ageless Linux is a civil disobedience project of the best kind...I love that they are literally spitting in the face of California and other places that have the AUDACITY to try to gatekeep computer/internet access. Using hostile and draconian measures to siphon personal information from computer users in order to verify their identity (these are down the pipeline, as legislation is going to cause those to become an issue in the long term. Surveillance is always the first step, then comes the boot). What is happening in Brazil is concerning, as it gives those who would erase digital privacy a better blueprint. So far there is no actual verification in the greater Linux ecosystem; Ageless Linux sees the potential of that happening. This project wants to remove it too, based on how it will be implemented. I love that the lead of this effort breaks down the law in a way that kinda makes sense to me. I love how this project flagrantly spits in the face of any regulators that had woken up and chose privacy violations as a way to start their day.
