TIL: Harman bought AKG and closed their Vienna development office. The engineers didn't appreciate, and founded their own company, called Austrian Audio. Word has it that they produce high quality, affordable gear. I'll find out soon, wife made me get closed headphones.

@ela AKG K271 are/were my favourite closed headphones (followed by its sister K171 for detail work). So I'll have a look into Austrian Audio, too. Edit: was already closed 9 years ago. Harman itself is a Samsung subsidiary.

@ela I got their wired and Bluetooth headphones on Black Friday and I'm quite happy with them. One minor downside is that they don't accept BT audio from two sources (e.g. phone and computer) at the same time.
