Chimp Empire on Netflix is amazing because like there's the central chimps and we meet them first and so they're the good guys and then they get attacked by the Westerners who are definitely the bad guys but then we meet the bad guys and find out they're good too and actually fuck the Centralers but then you realize neither group is inherently evil and you are forced to wonder if maybe there exists in all chimps the chimp who loves and the chimp who kills

also chimps hunt kill and eat monkeys and that is something I think left out of the childhood depictions of chimpanzees just like severe monkey murder in this show
