Is there already a gallery of the most well-known memes of our age? Not some funny inside-jokes but more like the archetypes of Commedia dell'arte, where people of the time would immediately see a character's mask and know what he was supposed to represent?

I was reminded of this after seeing this article and the thumbnail that Ars Technica chose to use: https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2026/04/palantir-employees-are-talking-about-companys-descent-into-fascism/ "Are we the baddies?" would, I think, be a prime candidate for such a meme. Or is culture too fractured that nobody besides online nerds would recognise that joke? #AreWeTheBaddies
