A thing about #authors that I feel makes the difference between “nice read” and whatever you call an awesome book is the repeated explanation of facts. I will accept a short recap of a person or a fictional machines peculiarity at the start of a new book in a series. However, an author should accept I can remember and envision things from the story. It very often happens in #SciFi stories for me.
