#lifeofPI I am going through my first cycle as a PI: does anyone else experience this feeling proud of their supervisee as they started to becoming equal and also feel a bit sad that they are leaving?

@kofanchen Been there, seen that too. Relish on the thought that you may see them again many times, you may end up even hiring their trainees as your postdocs ...
