A while back, I set up a private #Certificate Authority #CA to issue certificates for all my own services hosted mainly inside my home LAN, e.g. web- and mailserver etc. This has worked quite well so far, I configured to renew the service's certificates every year, the intermediate cert every 4 years. Now the time has come, that my root certificate (10 years) has expired. This is going to be interesting to #renew ! 😂 #homegrownservices #selfhosting #TLS #openssl #X509
