made a bunch of pie mincemeat (the kind that is made of candied peel, dried fruit, nuts, spices, and rum, and has no actual meat) in december, and now i absolutely can't be fucked to make pie crust to cook it in. i have however discovered that adding a couple of big scoops of it to the batter really enhances a carrot or sweet potato cake, it's also good as an ice cream flavour, kind of an enhanced rum and raisin
