Remember that period when absolutely everyone believed that margarine was healthier than butter after being duped by some lying companies and health charlatans, and then a bunch of people died of heart attacks? That might turn out to be an apt metaphor for the current #AI craze as our economy spreads generative content on everything it consumes, and all our communication channels are being coated in a sticky layer of artificial gunk.
