The discussion on the use of AI in the Agda project last week has convinced me I need to do more to push back against its use in projects I contribute to. However, I alone do not have the power to change the policy of all projects I want to contribute to over night. Are any groups organizing against AI in open source? Do you think that could be effective? Would you join?

@jaror@social.edu.nl I just found out about https://togetheragainstai.com/, but it's not specific on open source, though. There's Ai related initiatives in the open source communities like https://theopensourceai.foundation/ and https://opensource.org/ai but they don't like in the direction you'd like them to go... Personally, I think that it would be nice to have cross-language initiatives on the topic, maybe with initiatives similar to https://discourse.haskell.org/t/how-to-filter-out-vibe-coded-dependencies/13918/56
