@ChrisHenrichs @immibis oh ok, then you're argument is bogus :3 I'm a EE as well. Still in school fyi. That said the electronics/power side of a plant is quite different then the physics side. Let me ask this a bit more bluntly: why are you scared of these things? Not just "nuclear waste land" what's the mechanism of action you are concerned about?
