@kete That's not my ideal. Ideally we would live in a community where I can share transport in comfort with a feeling of safety, and if there's someone there with me forgetting their social responsibilities there's also a driver I can trust to take action to remind them. Nowhere in my ideal is a guy telling us that women need to do all the things to stay safe, so bad actors can blame their victim if we don't. @AimeeMaroux

@kete @AimeeMaroux Wait - re-read that a sec - is your argument really that women need to make themselves more prepared to meet violence with violence so that tech bros can get rich off self driving buses and bus companies can get richer by reducing headcount? That’s can’t be the side you picked right? You didn’t on purpose pick the side of Men Get Richer over Women Get Safer by telling women to hut people more often?
