I've done a web version of a "deck builder" using standard playing cards called "Card Capture" as a learning exercise for plain vanilla JavaScript. Not having ever been bitten by the Magic card game bug, I've little knowledge of deck builders. As long as one keeps ideally three "non-face" cards on the right-hand side so one can filter low-value cards out of ones draw deck and ideally only have one face card at a time on the left to capture, it seems quite easy. https://newsgames.co.za/card-capture/
