@donw@mastodon.coffee @atpfm@mastodon.social Apple believes very strongly in its own infallibility. They can't admit they have problems, and you can't fix problems you don't admit you have. They're missing incentives, too. You'd think that maybe they'd learn if people stopped paying for iCloud, but I'd bet that they have numbers showing that people never stop paying for iCloud once they start. Why bother spending money to fix or improve something when people are just going to keep paying you for it even if it sucks?

@donw@mastodon.coffee what’s the issue with shared photo albums? I’ve used them and they seemed fine. (But my needs literally amount to “here’s some pictures we can all share in one place”)
