#WritersCoffeeClub Day 26 – Recommend a non-fiction book on writing.
Dwight V. Swain, Techniques of the Selling Writer.
This book is vintage (putting it nicely) as it was one that was recommended to me when I started learning how to write. But there are things in that book I've never seen anywhere else.

@KitAuthor@wandering.shop On a different subject, and I forget the actual title, but there's a book selling techniques (in general) from the 50s, I think, which is superb. It talks about caring about the customer, having a genuine relationship, not selling to people who don't need the product, accepting valid objections (and handling excuses, well, it is about selling). It was why I was good at selling in the days I used to do it, and why people didn't mind talking to me. There's a lot of lost knowledge out there.
