They focus on the theft, human skill attrition, poor code quality, and the increase in volume. I find that odd given the very visible, grassroots pushback on data center proliferation by regular people who want to protect their water and air from the greedy oligarchs. We can probably thank Elon Musk's ratfucking of Memphis and Northern Mississippi for that movement. If they only care about code quality, then that's the measure they will use. I'm not sure how to get them to see the bigger picture.
