This. People don’t realize the huge reduction in maintenance costs (not to mention the fuel costs) with EVs

@colinburgess@mastodon.nz Typical EV drivetrains are going to rack up a million kms easily. The bits that are likely to fail are things like diffs and CV joints, which wear out and need replacement in ICE vehicles too.
