@rrustema020 @notjustbikes a pick up truck is in fact a work vehicle designed to be used to carry stuff in the missing rear half. Sadly, a large number of idiots in the us, Canada, and Mexico for the most part, somehow cannot realize this fact. They instead think it's cool to lift these vehicles to unsafe geometries and drive them like sport cars. I see this every f#cking day! An increase in the amount and manner of these vehicles should directly correlate to the dramatic increase in the level of stupidity in the general population..

@albertojavier @rrustema020 Not that it would have helped directly in this case, but work vehicles should have a low speed cutoff. It would have helped indirectly, though, because people wouldn't get them for driving around in. It should also be mandatory to have a special professional driver's licence to drive any work vehicle, with regular medical checkups.

@albertojavier @notjustbikes Actually, the SUV is designed to profit from a loophole in taxation. Like many cars, it is the result of legislation. American legislation in this case. As a work vehicle it also does not have a good design.
