For the past weeks I've noticed a very strange perculiarity on GitHub with users who create large amounts of repositories all following the same pattern with a generic name, template README, .github/activity.json file and some commits with generic names that just update a timestamp in the repository.
Some of them seem to be new accounts created specifically for this, while some have years of real contributions prior. Sometimes it happens for a couple days or a couple weeks.
Some examples:

And the reason I notice them is that these are all following me...! Along with several hundred other people. As well as starring and forking a bunch of repositories.
What is this, Openclaw agents going rogue or some kind of bot farm (boosting followers, repo stars...) trying to create activity to make their new or compromised accounts seem legit?
