one package down. many more to go. i copied the dependencies list for debian apt-get, to a file for openbsd. now i'm adapting it. i just installed "acpica" openbsd package, equivalent to debian acpica-tools. i may have to port some dependencies. beyond that, adapt lbmk e.g. make it automatically use gmake and gcc, not bsd-made and clang, on various upstreams. may have to patch a few upstreams. coreboot and grub already somewhat accomodate bsd. i'm porting libreboot's build system to openbsd
