@welshstu@toot.wales Have you confirmed they weren’t opted out of search? Opting apps out of search for privacy reasons is an idea that makes the rounds. I opt out Settings and Shortcuts as a cheap security trick.

@Sumocat@mastodon.world Good thinking, but no, they're supposed to be searchable and search does find them now. I think Apple have inadvertently fixed the bug and are saying it works as they didn't test it until it was fixed. I dunno.
