Back in the winter folks here helped me connect my 100W solar panel to a power station. In my yard in Ontario, I set up the panel in a sunny location. The most I was able to gather was 25W. Local friends with panels don't get the rated power either. It dawned on me that the panels have to work safely in Arizona where the sunlight is more intense. I found an article which shows how to use an inexpensive reflector to move more light onto the panel.
