@pauleveritt @trishagee "Why We've Tried to Replace Developers Every Decade Since 1969?" There's no need for reams of writing in order to answer that question. There's only one answer: bosses, i.e. people who don't work for a living, hate spending even a penny on people who *do* work for a living. They'd rather coerce the world into accepting the automated extrusion of LLM gibberish than spend money on supporting a workforce, because they regard paying workers a living wage as *wasteful*.

@pauleveritt @trishagee Capitalism optimizes on maximal inutility: that's the long and short of it. The ideal capitalist business makes infinite profit while achieving zero, because *achievement* and doing things that are of genuine use to the people is costly. It's so much easier to generate automated junk, and charge up the wazoo for it.
