@alexglow Yesterday was a high water mark for healthy nerding out — a local YouTuber (transit / urbanist / etc) hosted a quiz night, and I decided to take a chance and carry some self-designed nerdy merch and a fairly esoteric t-shirt with an economics geek joke on it
And so half a dozen times before / during / after the quiz, I kept meeting the loviest people wanting to ask about it. Turns out having 15 different (but evolutionarily linked) transport logos on your drinks mug and tote bag is a popular move in the right crowd. Even the Keynesian reference was spotted by an economics graduate.
That phrase “strangers are just friends you haven’t met yet” never felt so true
So anyway now two of us are going to design and sell posters of radically modified transmit maps (“diagrams actshually”) online, for whomever wants to see their cities in a very new way

@whophd Haha, cool :D I like the one you've linked to on Wikipedia! That's one of the things that most consistently improves my life – sharing my projects helps "my people" find me, and it sounds like it's working out for you too ^_^ Wearable projects are so good in that way.
