I performed at a poetry open mic last night! I was very intimidated by the idea, and everyone got a good chuckle out of the title of my piece and the logic behind it: "This is not a poem this is just a warmup" The logic being that if it is scary to perform poetry in front of people, then if it's not poetry it can't be scary.
