Sid Krofft and his brother Marty created a very distinctive era of children’s television—surreal, imaginative, and completely unlike anything else of their time. Shows like H.R. Pufnstuf and Land of the Lost really left a lasting cultural imprint. It’s always interesting how that kind of creative work stays with people for decades.
