The uncanny side of all this AI (generative, agentic, physical, whatever) tech is that it basically see the user (that is, us) as a finite and determinate quantity. You think, behave, like, desire, in a specific way that algorithms will eventually quantify and model. Then, you're not supposed to change. In some way, you're even not allowed to change, outside of a very limited range. You're like a shopfloor machine: just be a specific version of the generic human model, where being stable is good and change is a system degradation. I think this is not a mistake: it's a state of mind. Techbros and their pathetic stans would really like people to be like deterministic, manageable, expendable machines. And it shows, in the platforms they create.
