Economists are happy to see us all go extinct if it increases Bezos’s NPV by 1%.
They are a major reason we are so fucked right now.

Be I isn’t even worth a third of musk so that’s an interesting example and I’m not sure economists are heavily invested in Amazon anyways. And that also doesn’t explain how a tiny minority of economists are actually marxian economists.
