Another downside of genAI: the Linux devs are busy removing drivers for anything they think are unlikely to be widely used, because the amount of slop AI reports they're getting is overwhelming them. Probably not so much an issue with things like old mice controller cards, but we're still having problems with poor support for anything but a handful of wireless cards.
