@zimoun guix scheme dsl is much better than nix. that's one big thing i liked about guix from the beginning

@zimoun i am not exactly a fan of python but it can be used to great effect as we did in pants https://www.pantsbuild.org/stable/docs/writing-plugins/the-rules-api/concepts i do not believe it is the job of the build system or package manager to restrict the user, but rather to enable them to write reproducible recipes
