"Can't you just use the men's bathroom?" Would you ask a cis woman that? "Why's it matter what pronouns we use?" Would you call a cis woman he/him? You NEED to look at a trans person as our actual gender *FIRST* and then ask the questions after. Work backwards from the assumption that we are who we *say* we are. Imagine telling a cis woman "vaginas are a lot of work and you should go get a penis instead." She'd slap you! Well, guess what? I'm gonna start slapping people too. My body isn't up for debate. It's mine. And it's not "more work." It's perfect.
