@amostart our cats are pretty amenable but make it clear that they can’t go out without the leash. I just hold it up if they are wailing at the door. You can also try treats of various kinds but some cats just don’t take to it or have no interest in going outside. But I have a pretty large friend group all with cats that are leash trained, so it’s not totally impossible.
