@alan@mindly.social I'm with you on this one! I'm happy to support creators (of all kinds of things) when what they offer intersects with what I want, but then I want them to give me a Thing that I can *keep* using *without* needing to ask anyone for permission every time. (Whether every time I want to use the Thing, or every time something about how I want to use the Thing changes.)
