Man this is so cool - a company in the middle of nowhere Texas will rent you space to host your telescope so you can take pictures of space without light pollution.

It's kind of hard to see but the roofs retract when it starts getting dark in the evening, then you access your telescope over the internet, take all the nerdy pics of space you want overnight, and then the roof closes in the morning.

@dan I've seen some of these in Arizona, too. Super great option to keep access to dark skies without all the travel, although renting the space tends to run a couple hundred dollars a month. But then again, some people have tens of thousands of dollars invested into their gear, so $3500/yr might be worth it.
