Want to make more sense of this platform? Download Ice Cubes for iOS or Tusky for Android. Scrap the Mastodon app. Why? 1–They look/feel more like Twitter 2–Follow people, post, and have fun. Hope that’s helps. Please boost if useful.

@chopaganda great tips. In the web version I recommend turning on the "advanced interface" which is a tweetdeck-like multi column view, that's another nice one.

@chopaganda I switched to Metatext on your recommendation but kept the original app just to mess around with her and there. I still haven’t figured out how to switch timelines there. Metatext is a lot easier to use and understand for sure. I like that I can browse other timelines through but a little bummed that I can’t interact while I’m there.
