@magsol I was already riffing on this but a CI/CD pipelines is the very definition of a tightly coupled complex system. The internet of Vint Cerf (et al.) is complex but loosely coupled. Today's internet—not so much. But again, it's not just the internet or the web. Regular programs feel flakier than they did a while ago. And of course now we have all these "edge devices" laying around everywhere, ready to break.
