This makes sense to me.
A physical calendar is in my kitchen.
A digital calendar is usually more related to
"official business" and work. (like bank stuff, and appointments)
The physical calendar has like people's birthday parties
on saturday or sunday. Also the physical calendar has a little
more soul and whimsy. Goats in trees or nature pics.

@pkw Yeah I feel like you get me! Digital calendars are associated with business because they're fundamentally collaborative, but regular people can collaborate across borders too, and probably should do so more often. I believe that the rest of the world starts the week on Monday, and this seems simple enough to accommodate. With week numbering systems, it does seem obvious that Saturday and the following Sunday are the "same weekend", so they should have the same week number IMHO. Tangentially related: I wish calendar GUIs had a "four weeks view" with the current week at the top and the following weeks below it. This would be loads more useful to me than a month view ever is.
