@imyke with your spinning disk hard drive in network in your studio, you could host a Time Machine backup folder for your Mac mini, that way it would wirelessly back up _to the hard drive_ plugged into the other machine.
That way you could enjoy a larger backup space without a loud spinning disk on your desk
It’s much easier these days

@imyke@mastodon.social I have three hard drives plugged into an iMac, one for all the laptops to back up to __wirelessly_ , and one for its own Time Machine backup, and an extra for larger data
