@nnirror @ho @williamfields Without having the full context here I’ll say: you can use gen~ inside of a pfft~ patch (with fftin~). If you’re wanting to do cross-bin stuff then you end up having to have a single fft frame-delay to do it due to the way Max sets the system up. But… just so ya know if that’s useful!

@chorist @nnirror To clarify, this would not be the STFT of an an audio signal as is commonly implemented in computer music software, but of a lower sample rate signal after windowed RMS is taken.
