@Altair@social.diachron.net im most tempted by the AYN Thor, since it has that cool DS form factor, but i also dont want it so badly that i need to buy it on credit, so i'll re-evaluate the market whenever i get re-employed. I bought myself a newish phone because i figure i'll get more mileage out of that, and so far I think this was the right call. It's good enough and its also a phone. its a Moto Stylus 5G 2024, by the way. i looked at a bunch of options and moto has the "value to bullshit" sweet spot where you get a good GPU and very little bloatware for less than $300. there's still some bloatware, but like, not much.
