@carm_kuryakin thank you so much. this seems to indeed be it. dont know if the ones i got were a smaller variety or not really ripe. they had a lot less flesh then the ones pictured and were smaller than a (big) fig. and had only two parts. very interesting. now i would like to know why they were sold as fresh dates 😅
