@aspragg @isocat Never had that problem.
In truth, I'd likely accept it but have them use Gdocs next time. Now if libre office has a user friendly teaching platform, I'm open to using it, but the crucial thing I need is to see the creation history of the document. I literally have no other tools to detect papers that come from elsewhere. Yes, ai sucks for people who don't want their data ripped off. This, I think, is well established.

@rjblaskiewicz @aspragg I'm glad I finished being a student before all this, and at the same time I wish there'd been more of today's understanding of neurodiversity and the serious harms of what used to be(?) waved away as "Oh, well, kids are cruel; you'll live. It builds character". The always-watching/always-scraping eye of Google adds a layer of meaning to this:
