@Tony@clew.lol I'm fairly careful about specifications & ratings for the stuff under my control. For the outside, the main solution is "have enough money to buy stuff to cope with it". My affordable UPS is enough to shutdown my stuff safely, not much more. At least, fortunately, batteries have been fairly rapidly getting cheaper in the last 5 years so if that continues that would be nice.
