It didn't help that they also all seem to think that the best way to meet new players is through organized play. Or that I lost most of them when I said that would be like trying to recruit for a pool league based on people's pinball performance.
(Frankly, if one can't follow a metaphor like that, we are getting *nowhere* in our interactions anyway.)

Some of the weirdest and more unique games I ever played where at university during the long summer breaks, when old groups broke up and only staff and post grads tended to hang out. It seemed to be summers of "all the GMs playing together till their real groups reformed at the start of the semester" Experimental, weird, full of glitches with people you know were good GMs in different ways from yourself. Educational. Annoying. Fun. A change is as good as a rest @pteryx @Taskerland
