I am a terrible chess player. But playing chess badly is far preferable to doing many other recreational activities badly, such as skydiving badly. #humor

@badtux I could have taught you chess, many years ago. Now... Not so much! I learned and played in College. The 'computer' thing was just beginning, though we had a DEC VAX 11/780 Mainframe for admin etc. & PDP-11's in Computer Lab's. I & a 2 friends ported the ADVENT (The Colossal Caves Adventure) Fortran code to the PDP's and we played on the terminals! We created an ASCI art Star Trek game too.
