@jon This browser has the same problem for me that all third party browsers have on macOS/iOS: it uses its own password manager. Is this an Apple-caused problem (integrating with Keychain/Apple Passwords is difficult or impossible?) or is there another reason?
NB Importing passwords for me is not an option - it just causes things to get out of synch with other apps and browsers, where they do support Keychain/Apple Passwords.

@jon The upshot is that I find it difficult to run multiple browsers in parallel until I know whether or not it's worth switching, so I mostly stay in Safari (which, tbf, is mostly good enough for my needs).
